Welcome to Melchizedek's Tabernacle of Victory. Listen as Derick discusses biblical issues in a way that brings Wisdom and Truth directly from God's Word, directly to you!
This week's show is called "The Lord Is Our Strong High Tower." Tune in and hear Derick as he continues to bring clarity to the Word of God.
In this episode, the speaker begins a series on the attributes of God, using Proverbs 18:10 to explain the meaning of God’s “name” as his character, reputation, and authority. The message describes God as a “strong tower” of refuge and safety and uses biblical and Hebrew references to illustrate how believers find protection in him.
The teaching then reviews several names of God, including El Shaddai, El Elyon, Adonai, Yahweh, Jehovah-Jireh, Jehovah-Nissi, and Jehovah Tsidkenu, emphasizing God’s provision, lordship, victory, and righteousness. It also focuses on Genesis 22 and Abraham’s provision of a ram, presenting this as an example of God’s supply and substitution, and closes by highlighting David, Jonathan, and the role of praise, prayer, and obedience.
