  • The Faith Series: What is Faith, Really?
    19 Oct 2026

What does it really mean to have faith? Is faith simply believing hard enough that God will do what we’re asking? And when our prayers aren’t answered the way we hoped, does that mean we didn’t have enough faith?

In this opening episode of The Faith Series: Beyond What We Can See, we explore the true biblical meaning of faith through Hebrews 11:1: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

    In this episode, we’ll explore:

    • What Hebrews 11:1 actually teaches about faith
    • The historical background and purpose of the book of Hebrews
    • Why having more faith doesn’t guarantee a particular outcome
    • The difference between biblical faith and positive thinking
    • How to trust God when prayers seem unanswered
    • What genuine faith looks like in everyday life

    Scriptures: Hebrews 11:1–6; Hebrews 10:35–39; Mark 9:24; Luke 17:5–6; 1 John 5:14

  • When Comparison Distracts You From God’s Purpose
    12 Oct 2026

Have you ever looked at someone else’s life and wondered why yours looks so different?

Maybe they’re further along in their career, ministry, relationships, or personal goals. Or perhaps you’re facing circumstances you didn’t choose, and you’ve started questioning whether those circumstances are keeping you from fulfilling God’s purpose for your life.

Comparison doesn’t always look like jealousy. Sometimes it looks like discouragement, impatience, or the feeling that you’re falling behind.

In this episode of The Living Well, we explore five biblical ways to overcome comparison, redefine success, and refocus on what God has entrusted to you.

Through Scripture, we’ll discover why someone else’s journey was never meant to be the measurement of our own, how God can work through our limitations, and why faithfulness matters more than worldly accomplishments.

Because God never asked you to live someone else’s life. He called you to follow Him with yours.

  • How to Overcome the Fear of Failure & Move Forward in Faith
    7 Oct 2026

What if the thing you’re calling a failure wasn’t actually the end of the story?

Fear of failure can keep us from applying, trying, starting, obeying, or even becoming beginners because we’re afraid of what will happen if things don’t work out. But sometimes the deeper fear isn’t failure at all; it’s what we’ve decided failure says about us.

In this episode of The Living Well, Tyra explores how to overcome the fear of failure and move forward in faith. We’ll talk about separating outcomes from identity, recognizing when fear is rooted in pride or insecurity, becoming teachable enough to learn from what didn’t work, and trusting God when the outcome looks different from what we expected.

Through the stories of Moses, David, and other biblical truths, we’ll also look at why faith doesn’t require certainty, how remembering God’s past faithfulness can disarm fear, and why a closed door isn’t always a failure, sometimes it’s refinement, protection, or redirection.

Hebrews 11:1 tells us that faith is “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” When fear starts predicting everything that could go wrong, we can answer it with what we already know about God: His promises, His character, His Word, and His history of faithfulness.
