The Bible is filled with promises of God's protection, deliverance and salvation. But have you ever wondered how a promise made thousands of years ago still applies to our lives today?

What does the Passover in the Old Testament have to do with Jesus? Why was the blood of a lamb so significant? And what does it mean for us to be covered by the blood of Jesus today?

In Exodus 12, we read about the Israelites living in slavery in Egypt and God's plan to deliver them. Before the final plague, God instructed His people to sacrifice a lamb without blemish and mark their doorposts with its blood.

And with that came a remarkable promise: "When I see the blood, I will pass over you." (Exodus 12:13)

But this was more than an instruction for the Israelites. It was also pointing towards a far greater promise that would be fulfilled through Jesus Christ.

In John 1:29, Jesus is introduced as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

So why is Jesus called the Lamb of God? What is the significance of His sacrifice on the cross? And how does the New Covenant change our relationship with God?

In this week's episode, we connect the first Passover to the sacrifice of Jesus, exploring God's promise of redemption, the power of His blood, and the abundant life He offers us through faith in Him.

As Jesus reminds us in John 10:10, He came so that we may have life, and have it abundantly.

If you've ever wondered about the significance of the blood of Jesus, or what His sacrifice truly means for your life, this episode is for you.
