# Bryce Young's Comeback and the Eagles' Struggles

> Exploring the ups and downs of the NFL season so far.

As we dive into the latest huddle, one thing becomes clear: the NFL is never short of surprises. This week, we focus on the remarkable turnaround of Bryce Young and the unexpected struggles of the Philadelphia Eagles.

## Bryce Young's Resurgence

Bryce Young, the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft, faced early challenges, starting the 2024 season 0-2 and even getting benched. However, by week eight, he made a comeback that saw the Carolina Panthers finishing with an 8-9 record, earning them their first NFC South title since 2015.

In the wild card game, despite a heartbreaking loss to the Rams, Young showcased his talent by throwing for a record 448 yards against the Falcons. Now, as the Panthers start the new season with a 3-1 record, Young has completed 62% of his passes and thrown for nine touchdowns with only two interceptions.

> "Has Bryce Young fully silenced the bust talk?" Cal Gray asks.

The answer seems to lean towards yes, as his quick decision-making and strong support from a young coach and talented teammates contribute to a promising trajectory for the Panthers.

## The Eagles' Unexpected Slide

In stark contrast, the Philadelphia Eagles, who were the Super Bowl champions just two seasons back, have faced back-to-back losses, including a surprising defeat to the Rams where they couldn't convert on any third downs—a franchise record of 0-12. With star running back Saquon Barkley sidelined due to injury, Jaylen Hurts struggled with only 93 passing yards in that game.

The dynamics of the league are shifting, and it raises the question: what does the future hold for these teams?

Join us in reflecting on these developments as the season progresses. The ups and downs of the NFL remind us that anything can happen on the field, and every game tells a story worth following.
