Jorts, bandanas, long-lost sisters! The Finale Pod is spending one last teenage summer in Muskoka! We are discussing Alex's pick: the Season 1 finale of Sterling Point. Ramona's colorblindness cracks the family secret wide open (sorry, Joe), the DNA test says Steven is her dad, and the sisters decide to recreate TLC's trading spaces: Ramona heads to New York and Annie stays at the lake. Meanwhile, Connor takes his scheming to Denise's hot tub (yes, the realtor mom) and secretly goes looking for his and Annie's birth parents. Don't forget to leave a comment on our Instagram @thefinalepod and share your thoughts on Sterling Point!

We start our recap discussion at the 16:00 mark if you want to fast-forward past our TV news catch-up, our Love It Lately recs, and the Icebreaker Intermission about what we'd do with a fully funded gap year (Alex sprang it on us with zero warning, so expect pilot's licenses, South America, and a debate about hostels).

The overall TFP rating for the Season 1 finale of Sterling Point is 7.67.

The show that took basic women of New York by storm has taken The Finale Pod too! We are discussing Alex's pick: the Season 1 finale of Love Story, Ryan Murphy's FX/Hulu retelling of JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. After a couples-counseling session that lands on separation, John reconnects with Carolyn over a drink and one last dinner where she finally sheds her armor — while sister Caroline takes him for a reservoir walk to call him on his shit — right before the fatal flight to Martha's Vineyard. Along the way: the Bigelow headband you cannot buy in New York City, Carolyn's wardrobe operating as its own character, John's inexplicable silver biker chain, and the great Reddit/TikTok debate over whether this whole thing is cathartic or exploitative. Don't forget to leave a comment on our Instagram @thefinalepod and share your thoughts on Love Story!

We start our recap discussion at the 17:50 mark if you want to fast forward past our TV news catch-up, our Love It Lately recs, and the Icebreaker Intermission about our dream celebrity to marry (rumor has it Carolyn told a college friend JFK Jr. was her dream dude).

The overall TFP rating for the Season 1 finale of Love Story is 4.00 (Out of 10. A shocker, we know!)

I'm coming to the cottage — and so is The Finale Pod! We are discussing Lauren's pick: the Season 1 finale of Heated Rivalry. Shane and Ilya finally get their two uninterrupted weeks at an Ottawa "cottage" (a mansion on the lake, to be clear), complete with eight very precisely grilled burgers, a loon with truly terrible timing, and Shane's dad stopping by to grab a phone charger at the absolute worst possible moment. Don't forget to leave a comment on our Instagram @thefinalepod and share your thoughts on Heated Rivalry!

We start our recap discussion at the 26:40 mark if you want to fast forward past our TV news catch-up, our Love It Lately recs, and the Icebreaker Intermission about who we'd choose to be locked in a remote cottage with for two blissful, uninterrupted weeks.

The overall TFP rating for the Season 1 finale of Heated Rivalry is 8.40.
