In hour 4 of The Drive, Zach and Will take a deep dive into the Avalanche after signing Jared Bednar to a 4-year contract extension. Do the guys have a problem with the length of Bednar's extension? Was this extension Joe Sakic's decision or Josh Kroenke's? How much of the previous Avs playoff shortcomings are Bednar's fault? Will the Avalanche's power play issues carry over into this season? We wrap up the show with DenverSports.com's Aniello Piro joining the show to discuss their predictions for the Avalanche tonight, if MacKenzie Blackwood will play well after an up-and-down season a year ago, and where the Avalanche will finish in the Western Conference at the end of the regular season.
