We're tired of bad news. We bet you are too. The Daily Oink is a weekly comedy podcast where two hosts — two Americans & one Spanish — trade the most absurd news stories from their corners of the world. He read American weirdness to Them. They read global chaos to him. Neither of us sees it coming. Together we laugh, we react, and we remind ourselves that no matter where you live, humans are out here doing the most ridiculous stuff imaginable. Funny news, weekly. No politics. No doom. Just a flying pig and a lot of "wait, WHAT?"Soul & Jeaux & Sway Politics & Government

  • Ep. 8: Aura Farming, a Bread Phantom, and the Virgin Mary (or the Mandalorian) on a Kitchen Wall
    7 Sep 2026

Labor Day episode. Sol, Sway and Joe, Argentinian wine, and Lengüita makes her entrance.

This week: US grad students strike over stipends worth 30% less than 2019 while Canada poaches 64 top professors. A fireworks warehouse explodes next to a church during a saint's festival outside Mexico City. The US Navy texts stranded military families a crisis hotline that turns out to be the National Bank of Canada. Kids in Lima dressed as Shrek face off in "aura battles" on the beach, and nobody at this table understands why. Someone in Tottori, Japan keeps leaving loaves of bread equally spaced along a guardrail near bear country and the culprit is still at large. A farmer in Kisii County, Kenya finds the Virgin Mary in a grease smudge on her wall, thousands show up, and the family calls the police. And a Berlin artist builds an ugly summer shirt designed by AI to make surveillance cameras stop seeing you as human.

Also: whistle-free this week, but potatoes and tampax, MySpace nostalgia, and Sol predicts a wall collapse before it happens.

  • Ep. 7: Knockoff Pikachus, Buried Underwear, and Cocaine Bear 2
    7 Sep 2026

Soul, Sway, and Jeaux are back with wine, arepas, a charcuterie board and zero research done.

This week: a fake Uniqlo in Colombo, Sri Lanka selling Pikachu cards with Naruto eyes and a six pack. A Spider-Man screening in Cartagena, Colombia evacuated over a smell nobody wants to claim. Switzerland burns an exploding snowman to predict summer, keeps flamingos on Lake Zurich, and the University of Zurich mailed 1,000 people cotton underwear to bury in their yards for science. A black bear in Crested Butte, Colorado breaks in at 1 a.m., trashes the kitchen, turns on the stove and burns the house down. A guy in a full Darth Vader suit defends surveillance cameras at San Diego city council. And in Estado de México, the founder of Beto y sus Canarios gets shot in the parking lot and the show goes on anyway.

Also: whistle pigs, Bambi's Ladder, wild eggs, and a guest appearance from Lengüita.

  • Ep. 6: Capybaras Invade Brazil's Congress, China Hoops Upside Down, and France's Deer Get Wasted
    22 Aug 2026

Arkansas has water moccasins that show up in football helmets. A Kentucky man assembled a Mr. Potato Head blindfolded in under 8 seconds. Miami's Tate brothers are doing push-ups outside court because testosterone. Washington D.C.'s bomb squad deployed to investigate a sex toy. Portland's goats caught a bus. Brazil's capybaras walked into the legislative assembly during a vote—security turnstiles saved democracy. A Chinese farmer in Guilin dropped from 80 to 63 kilos hula hooping and now spins 33 hoops while hanging upside down from playground equipment. France has drunk deer stumbling in circles after eating fermented fruit off the forest floor. Nigeria has more English speakers than the UK, US, Canada, and Australia combined and holds the second-largest movie industry. Kenya is the Quaker capital of the world. Three hosts. Six regions. One absolutely unhinged news cycle.
