Many Christians are questioning their place in the Anglican church having been blindsided by the last year in the C of E, and there aren't many places to make 'gospel sense' of these events. Join members of the Church of England Evangelical Council and guests, as each episode we'll unpack a key topic. We'll cover evangelism, mission, biblical education, issues of culture, power and abuse, tackling racism, orthodoxy, and other topics affecting the Church of England in our cultural moment. If you want to stay informed on current issues affecting evangelicals, think biblically around key issues and how the Good News of Jesus impacts them, then this is the podcast for you.

Hosted by John Dunnett, Ed Shaw and others. We’d love to hear your questions and suggestions for future episodes - email us podcast@ceec.info or connect on CEEC social channels.

Making Sense of Radical Biblical Inclusion
    28 Feb 2024
When we talk about radical biblical inclusion, what exactly are we talking about? And why is this something that we need to be talking about? There’s lots more we could be doing to better love and care for our LGBTQI+ brothers and sisters in Christ. We discuss Jesus' way of welcoming everyone and challenging everyone as John Dunnett, National Director of CEEC is joined by guests Ed Shaw and Ashleigh Hull of Living Out. They share their personal experiences as gay/same-sex attracted Christians and their down-to-earth ideas for practical steps toward biblical inclusion, as well as where to go to explore the theology. And they recommend resources to help us all think through the biblical inclusion of LGBTQI+ people and more.
