À propos de ce contenu audio

In a forgotten municipal archive, Luna sorts through boxes of case files that were never meant to leave the building. The Archivist is a serialized horror podcast where each episode uncovers another document from the Sycamore Ridge missing-persons collection — a century of vanishings, each tied to a symbol carved into trees along the ridge. Luna speaks in the quiet hush of a reading room, her voice the only sound as she turns brittle pages. The stories are slow, methodical, dread-soaked: a librarian who walked into the stacks and never came out, a child's drawing that accurately predicted three deaths, a census record where every name is scratched out with the same symbol. As she reads deeper, the documents begin to reference each other — and Luna herself appears in a 1954 police report, listed as a witness. The arc tightens around her as she realizes the archive is not a repository of the past; it is a door that has been left open. Listen from the beginning and follow the paper trail into something that has been waiting for a reader.

  • The Unnumbered Road — Fexingo Horror
    May 6 2026
Luna returns to the archive the morning after she read the name of a road not on any map. The knocking has stopped, but the page from the annex folder is still in her hands, and the name—Cinder Hollow Road—has begun to repeat itself in her thoughts like a splinter. She tries to find it on any map, any plat, any survey. It isn't there. But Marlene knows something. A story about a road that was never built, a housing development that was never finished, and a foundation that was poured in 1962 and then forgotten. Luna drives to the woods where the road should begin, and finds a gravel track that leads to a chain-link fence and a locked gate. Beyond it, the trees are wrong—too close together, too still. And through the gate, she sees a house that matches the crayon drawing from the first folder. This is the story of what happened to the people who built it, and what happens to anyone who finds their way back.

  • The Photograph and the Knocking — Fexingo Horror
    May 5 2026
The night after Luna escaped the flooded well room, she returns to the Pine Hills Municipal Archive to examine the scratched-out photograph from the 1964 police report. Under the green banker's lamp, she works with solvent and a magnifying glass, slowly revealing a face—and a name—that should not exist. As the archive settles into silence, a rhythmic knocking begins from the annex. Luna traces the sound to a filing cabinet she swore was empty. Inside, a new folder waits, numbered in the same hand as the intake form from the farmhouse. The knocking does not stop when she opens it. It comes from inside the folder itself, from something written on paper that should be inert. This episode pulls Luna deeper into the architecture that connects forgotten places—the well room, the annex, and a road that appears on no map.

  • The Key to the Well Room — Fexingo Horror
    May 4 2026
Still dripping from the flooded chamber beneath the farmhouse on Old Mill Road, Luna drives home with a rusted key she found in the silt. The key bears a stamped number that matches a filing cabinet in the Pine Hills Municipal Archive’s restricted annex. When she returns at dawn, Marlene is not at her desk. Luna lets herself into the annex and finds the cabinet—but the drawer is already slightly open, and inside is a single folder marked with the word 'WITNESS.' The folder contains a police report from 1964 and a photograph of a woman whose face has been scratched out. Luna recognizes the dress from a painting she saw in the farmer’s house. Something in the dark reaches for her ankle.
