Synopsis: This evening (10/7/26), in our Wednesday night Tehilim shiur, we started learning Tehilim 90 (a.k.a., the beginning of Book Four). This has always been one of my favorite chapters, largely due to its resemblance to Seneca's "On the Shortness of Life" (albeit from a Torah perspective), but MAN is it difficult to translate! We only got as far as the translations today, with only time for a brief stab at the pivot point at the end. I'm looking forward to getting into the meat of the analysis next week, בג"ה!

The Torah content for the remainder of October has been sponsored by Naomi Schwartz Rothschild, who writes: "My stepmother was nifteres. She was a mother to me for almost 20 years. She called me her daughter. She was always positive and b'simchah. My Ima also helped and then took over my father's (z״l) Partners in Torah when he had difficulty and then couldn't do it all." May the memory of Chava Leah bas Tzivia Rochel be for a blessing.
