Perhaps best known for hit songs like “Solsbury Hill” and “Sledgehammer”, Peter has long been an early adopter of new technologies in music. He was on the front edge of digital recording, download, and distribution tech, and he joined Stability AI in 2023 to run a competition for AI-generated animated music videos set to his music.

Before leading research at OpenAI, Mark Chen was a self-proclaimed “late-bloomer” to computer science. He pivoted from an initial career in finance to heading up OpenAI’s frontiers research, where he led the teams that created DALL-E, developed Codex, and incorporated visual perception into GPT-4.

When CEO Alex Kendall co-founded Wayve in 2017, he was simultaneously writing his PhD thesis at Cambridge University. From that point onwards he’s been in the driver’s seat, as Wayve pioneers a new way to create self-driving cars using end-to-end machine learning.
