À propos de ce contenu audio

In the cold room, the dead are never truly gone. Luna stands in a stone cellar beneath an old house, where a brass candleholder casts shadows on walls that breathe with damp and memory. Each episode of Tales from the Cold Room is a standalone story whispered from that liminal space — not ghost stories in the traditional sense, but accounts of what lingers when the body fails and the soul refuses to leave. Here, a mortician finds a corpse whose eyes follow him. A child's voice echoes from a sealed well. A woman receives letters from her own gravestone. These are quiet horrors, intimate and slow, rooted in the ache of loss and the weight of unfinished business. Luna's voice is the only constant, a guide through doorways that should stay shut. The cold room is not a place of rest; it is a waiting room for tales that demand to be told. Each story stands alone, but together they form a mosaic of grief, memory, and the thin places where the veil frays. Enter if you dare — but know that the cold will follow you home.

  • The Ballroom at the End of Foster Street — Fexingo Horror
    May 5 2026
Luna drives through a November gale to a ghost town in western Kansas — a place called Foster, erased from most maps, where the grain elevator still stands like a tombstone and the courthouse clock stopped at 4:18. She is there to meet an old woman named Marguerite, the last resident, who lives alone in the dance hall above the old mercantile. But the ballroom remembers. The floorboards remember the waltz. And in the small hours, when the wind dies, the gramophone plays on its own. Marguerite doesn't dance anymore, but the room does. A story about loneliness, lingering, and the music you cannot turn off.

  • The Night She Walked North on Route 9 — Fexingo Horror
    May 4 2026
October 2019. A two-lane blacktop in western Nebraska, dry grass and broken fence lines. Luna's cousin Delia drove out there alone after a fight she never fully explained to anyone. Her car was found parked at the base of a wind turbine with the driver's door open, the engine still warm, and the headlights pointed north into empty field. The county sheriff wrote it off as a walk-off—rural depression, cold night, bad decision. But three things don't fit. Delia's phone, recovered a week later, logged a single text draft at 2:14 AM—seven words, never sent. The turbine's motion sensor captured a silhouette walking past it at 2:17, then another joining from the field. And on the passenger seat she left her jacket folded, her keys on top, and a bar of lavender soap she'd been carrying for days. Luna went looking. She found a stretch of gravel where the ground stayed warm through the frost. She found a name carved into a wooden fence post—not Delia's. And she found out what happens to people who walk north on Route 9 when the only light is a half-moon and the turbines are turning slow.

  • The Last Tenant of Blackwood Flats — Fexingo Horror
    May 3 2026
October 1995. Luna's uncle Frank manages the Blackwood Flats, a crumbling apartment building on the edge of a dying Massachusetts mill town. When the last tenant—an old woman named Edie Moss—finally vacates unit 3B, Frank asks Luna to help him clean out the apartment before the building is condemned. They find a single room: a mattress, a chair, a television playing static, and the walls papered in hundreds of pages torn from a single book—a 1967 paperback titled 'The Sleepwalker's Atlas.' But it's what they find in the closet—a child's winter coat, still dry-cleaned in plastic, with a dry-cleaning tag dated September 1998—that makes Luna realize they are standing in a room that has not been touched by time in the way it should have been. A story about liminal spaces, the weight of unclaimed grief, and what happens when a person simply decides to stop moving forward.
