    • Traveling Joe - Tales From Bark Mountain
      Jan 25 2026

In this heartwarming episode of Tales from Bark Mountain, the Bark Mountain fire crew is called to help someone injured along a quiet winter road. What they find is Traveling Joe—a kind, tired man passing through town, hoping to make his way home to his family.

As Fire Chief Steve, Goose the Fire Dog, and the firefighters care for Joe, they learn he has no money for food and nowhere to stay. With compassion and teamwork, and the help of Constable Moose, the crew comes together to offer more than first aid. They offer warmth, dignity, and hope—sharing what they have and helping Joe make his way home safely.

Traveling Joe gently teaches young listeners that kindness doesn’t have to be big to matter. Sometimes it’s a meal, a smile, and that moment of care that changes everything.

    • Black Ice - Tales From Bark Mountain
      Jan 19 2026

On a cold day on Bark Mountain, the fire bell rings and the crew races to help a family in need. Firefighter Izzy is driving the rescue truck when the road curves toward the old bridge — and suddenly, the tires hit black ice.

The truck begins to slide, but instead of panicking, Izzy remembers her training.

She takes a deep breath. She keeps her hands steady. She thinks back to her training, hours of diving on slippery roads. Slowly, carefully, she guides the truck back under control. Because in Bark Mountain, training isn’t just something you practice — it’s something that helps you when things feel scary.

On the other side of the bridge, two kids need help after a car crash. Thanks to calm thinking, teamwork, and trusting what they’ve learned, the firefighters arrive safely and work together to bring everyone to safety.

This episode teaches young listeners that challenges can feel slippery and surprising — just like black ice. But when we pause, breathe, and remember what we’ve practiced, we can find our balance again.

In Bark Mountain, heroes aren’t fearless. They’re prepared!

And when the road gets tough, their training shows them the way.
