  • Arrested Development: Jason Bateman, Ron Howard Voice Overs, And Dysfunctional Families
    Jan 15 2026

Ron Howard wrote this is episode description! Thanks Ron!

In the pirate studios Geoff, Mike, and Rich sat to discuss their thoughts on the 2003 sitcom Arrested Development. The story of the Bluth Family, Michel, GOB, Lindsey, and Buster, their parents Lucille and George, and their kids George Michael and Maeby. A tale of wealth and loss, trust and mistrust, about land and sea. But don’t take my, Ron Howard’s, word on it listen to the boys. It’ll be fun.

So grab some 3d Doritos, some Mountain Dew Livewire and fire up The Pirate Bay. Let’s watching some Arrested Development how it was meant to be seen. On a tiny buffering screen.

Hugs and Kisses, Ron Howard. The director.

Arrested Development stars Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Portia Di Rossi, Jessica Walter, David Cross, Alia Shawkat, Michael Cera, Tony Hale, and Jeffrey Tambor.

  • Clipped (Featuring SNL's Carl Tart): The LA Clippers, Fandom, and Bad Casting
    Jan 8 2026

What a treat for the start of the year! We held Carl Tart’s eyes open Clockwork Orange style and forced him to watch Clipped! The dramatized retelling of the Donald and Shelly Sterling scandal that resulted in him being forced to sell the LA Clippers. Is Carl arguably the most notable Clippers fan in the world? Yes. Did we make him watch potentially the worst thing to happen in his entire fandom of the franchise… welp now that I’m writing it… also yes. But was he a good sport about it? Absolutely!

We chat Clippers history, his Carl’s personal fandom story, sports scandals and how they are depicted in general, if V. Stiviano is a sports folk hero, the performances, Lavar Burton and of course… the casting of the Clippers players.

Catch Carl as a writer on Saturday Night Live (am I spelling that right? We haven’t heard of it) and also as a cohost of Hollywood Handbook, XoXo Bada Bings Sopranos Podcast and of course on stage at UCB in NYC and LA!
