    I will have a painting in the Members Exhibit at the Button Factory Art Gallery in Waterloo, from Saturday, May 9th - Friday, June 19th.

    I have been making regular appearances at the monthly Waterloo Public Library Open Mic Poetry Nights, and the occasional open mics at other locations as I come across them - I’ve been really having fun with those.

    In the basement studio now, I chat about how September's been going in my new "retired" life, and some odd and unexpected negativity that's come my way. But also good news about keeping up with a healthy gym/eat/sleep lifestyle, within what my hands can do. We had our 30th Anniversary, I talk about some writing, art and the KWSA, and new from this black thumb, omg ...PLANTS? LOL!

    I've added one more "What I hear vs..." at the Sarah McLachlan concert, and a short kiddos update.

    Today I yammer on about ALL THE THINGS we have coming out!

    The book KATRINA: AFTER 20 (available June 13)
    The book PAIN MACHINE (June or July)
    The Anthology DARK CANADIANA (July 1st)
    The song "Me and Vincent Price" in the upcoming documentary about the show Hilarious House of Frightenstein from when we were kids (this summer) *Apologies for saying the name of the show incorrectly! I was very short on sleep!*

    And... I'm retiring.
