In our latest episode of State House Minute, we discuss New Jersey’s energy landscape and our efforts to rein in skyrocketing utility costs –including our bill to cap electric rate hikes so they can’t exceed inflation (2.9%).

Just days after we recorded this, the NJ Board of Public Utilities (BPU) approved a 17% rate hike, adding to last year’s increases. Enough is enough.

New Jersey residents shouldn’t be paying the price for unchecked utility hikes. We need real protections against these increases, and that’s what we will continue to fight for in the legislature.
