Valerie is an Ohio native who relocated to NC and who is immersed in the recovery community. She is in long term recovery and shares her experience with substance use as well as her relationship with her higher power. As a long time member of a 12 step program, she credits "finding a higher power" to saving her life and she loves sharing that story with others in hopes of helping them find sobriety.
