BOOKINGS DJ & Live sets: chris@elitemm.co.uk Slam (aka Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle) are a tour de force on the global techno circuit. Their unique, six deck, back-to-back DJ performances have seen the duo play leading clubs and festivals across the world. They are renowned for both their experience and their powerful, contemporary sound. They are co-owners of Glasgow's Riverside Festival, and also host the legendary Maximum Pressure warehouse parties, which showcase the best emerging local talent alongside some of the most established names in international techno. Their iconic Soma Records label boasts in excess of 600 releases, hosting Mcmillan and Meikle's own productions and many of today's most cutting-edge techno artists. The last few years have seen some of the duo's most prolific studio output as they continue to innovate and keep things moving forward, most recently with the release of their experimental full length record Athenæum 101. In addition, Slam have also remixed tracks from the likes of Planetary Assault Systems, Clouds, Dax J, Damon Wild, Richie Hawtin, and Truncate, to name just a few. Slam also host one of Techno's most respected weekly podcasts, Slam Radio, which has now surpassed over 400 episodes.     ÜBERKIKZ combines driving kicks, tooly synths, and tribal and folkloric elements into a hypnotic journey. With each kick, she tells stories that resonate deeply, encouraging a confrontation with one's origins. Free from thought, almost instinctively, her sets are a call to surrender to the moment and experience all these raw emotions in their purest form. At the heart of her sets lies the belief that we all share a common origin — beyond nationality, culture, gender, or sexuality.     Born in Italy and now rooted in Berlin, DHÆÜR started his journey as a devoted digger, driven by an obsessive search for deep and rare sounds. Over the years, he has developed a strong and recognizable artistic voice - defined by precision, depth, and a restless push for sonic innovation that bridges the worlds of DJing and production. His productions have steadily earned international recognition, finding their way onto respected labels and resonating across some of the most uncompromising dance floors of recent years. On the decks, DHÆÜR operates with a clinical precision rooted in a deep understanding of psychoacoustic dynamics. His sets draw from an old school minimal techno vocabulary, recontextualised through a modern and unmistakably personal sonic identity - hypnotic sequences held in constant tension by precisely placed rhythmic breaks. It is a technical, almost austere approach, one that treats the acoustic space itself as an instrument. In 2024, DHÆÜR founded Consciousness, a community-driven project that merges documentary and party formats to shed light on the people and invisible forces that sustain club culture. At its core is a commitment to diversity, memory, and building something lasting in an ecosystem that too often forgets where it came from. As part of this research, he completed a six-week residency in Detroit - going deep into the movement's cultural roots and bringing that knowledge back into the project's vision. After a first event in Paris, Consciousness is now heading to Amsterdam, London, Dresden, and Tokyo. DHÆÜR’s path moves with purpose and a clear, determined path through the music.     Mari Sakurai is a DJ based in Tokyo. With techno as her core, she freely navigates through various genres, establishing her position as a pioneering figure in Tokyo's dance music scene with her powerful and thrilling play style. She energetically performs at a wide range of events, from underground parties to outdoor festivals, and is active on platforms such as Whole Festival, Boiler Room, MUTEK, Rinse FM, NTS Radio, and Refuge Worldwide. Since 2020, she has been involved with the queer rave "SLICK," since 2023, she has been active with "KILLIAN," a party seeking the new era of dance music, and starting in 2024, she serves as an organizer/resident DJ for "PYRO," a party featuring young DJs from the local scenes across Japan.
