  • 7: Staying Single - The "Other" Choice
    27 Oct 2026

Hey, Debbi and Leslie coming at ya with another episode of Single, Not Sorry, the singles podcast NOT about dating! Today we’re talking about options—because apparently society has decided there are only two: be in a relationship or be actively hunting for one. Um…how about option number three?

We’re diving into why being single by choice is often treated like you’ve “given up,” failed at life, or possibly need to explain your sexuality to the nearest busybody. We’ll talk about the difference between giving up on a dream and simply realizing there are more ways to live than the one you were handed.

And here’s a radical idea: being alone is a perfectly legitimate option! In fact, it can be a damn good one. Debbi and Leslie are living proof that you can build a happy, fulfilling life without constantly swiping, searching, or treating singledom like a temporary condition that needs to be cured.

Maybe the problem isn’t that you’re missing an option. Maybe nobody ever told you it existed.

  • 6: Going from "We" to "Me"
    13 Oct 2026

Going from “we” to “me” can be a hell of a transition. In this episode of Single, Not Sorry, we’re talking about what happens when a marriage or major relationship ends—and suddenly you’re on your own.

First, there’s the legal stuff: attorneys, beneficiaries, bank accounts, emergency contacts, and all the other scary paperwork nobody warned you about.

Then there’s the reality of living alone, with or without kids. It can be scary, lonely, and downright weird at first, but eventually you may discover something surprising: you actually LOVE having your life—and your home—entirely to yourself.

But let’s not forget the societal crap. The stigma, the perceived loss of status, the “what went wrong?” questions, and the ridiculous idea that being single means you somehow failed. Spoiler alert: you didn’t. We’ll talk about the emotional, practical, and societal challenges of going from “we” to “me”—and why you shouldn’t let anyone else’s definition of a successful life become yours.

  • 5: Money and the Single Woman - Girls Just Wanna Have Funds
    29 Sep 2026

Money. 💰 It’s one of those topics that can turn a perfectly pleasant conversation into a full-blown bar fight—and in the singlesphere, there’s plenty to talk about!

In this episode of Single, Not Sorry, Debbi and Leslie tackle the good, the bad, and the downright annoying parts of beingsingle when it comes to money. On the plus side, there’s freedom. Your money is YOUR money, and you get to decide whether your financial love language is saving, spending, investing, or occasionally blowing $300 on somethingcompletely unnecessary. No partner’s spending habits, questionable purchases, or gambling problem required.

But then there’s the downside: one income, all the bills, and nobody to split expenses with or bounce financial decisions off of. And let’s not forget the dreaded Singles Tax—paying more simply because you’re one person.

Being single may put you at a financial disadvantage in some ways, but there’s one major perk: 100% control overyour money. And that’s worth a lot!
