    Episode 87 - Carmilla
    14 Oct 2026

Two friends and academics recap classic literature and take it off its pedestal. In our eighty-seventh episode and Halloween special, we cover the (terrible) precursor to Dracula, Sheridan LeFanu's High Gothic lesbian vampire novel, Carmilla (1872). Daniel struggles to read such a terrible book and Abby struggles to pronounce 'Karnstein'.
