    December and I go a long way, a time in my life when there was liveliness and exuberance but we parted ways only to make me realize how much I’ll miss being lively and lost in its presence. Now here I am, exiled to a city where winter never comes, clinging on to a hope that I too am being missed by December, at least a little if not as much as I miss her and one day I’ll get to return home, to December, to its wintry and frosty yet comforting arms if not as old friends or maybe just an acquaintance; who once were almost as close as lovers…almost! (P.S- First three lines are inspired from another poem but yes rest are my thoughts and feelings)

    एक छूटी हुई ट्रेन

    कभी कोई ट्रेन छूटी है आपकी? वो एहसास कितना अजीब होता है ना, जिस ट्रेन से आपको जाना हो उसको जाते हुए देखना। उस छूटी हुई ट्रेन और किसी ऐसे अपने के चले जाने के एहसास में बहुत ज्यादा अंतर नहीं है, जिनके बारे में इतना तो जानते ही हैं की उनकी कमी हमें ज़िंदगी के हर प्लेटफॉर्म पर खलेगी। ट्रेनें अक्सर हमारे देर से पहुँचने के कारण छूट जाती हैं और शायद इसलिए ही हम बहुत देर से समझ पाते हैं की किसके जाने का दर्द एक बदलते मौसम के साथ बीत जाएगा और किसका हमारी ज़िंदगी में न होना, दिल में एक सुई की तरह चुभता रहेगा।
