Dr. Manmit Kummar shares the extraordinary experience that transformed her life from a 19-year corporate career into a journey of psychic development, spiritual teaching, and communication with what she understands as spirit guides. After leaving a difficult marriage, losing her mother to cancer, raising two young children, and experiencing intense anxiety, Manmit says she had an episode one night in which she felt herself leave her physical body. From near the ceiling, she perceived herself lying on the bed with what appeared to be a thin cord connecting her to her body. There was no white light and no deceased relatives waiting for her. Instead, she began hearing voices. One eventually told her: “This is not death. We wanted to get your attention.”
Manmit initially questioned everything. With a background in microbiology, business, and nearly two decades in the corporate world, the idea of spirit guides telling her she had an unfulfilled purpose seemed impossible. So she began asking for proof. In one striking story, Manmit describes sitting with a doctor who challenged her to intuit information inside a sealed medical report. She says the number 7.03 appeared in her awareness—and when the envelope was opened, 7.03 was on the report. Eventually, she says her guides told her to leave her job, beginning a journey from being viewed as unstable by people around her to teaching psychic development internationally. We also explore what she believes happens to souls after death, why some spirits may resist crossing over, the importance of grounding intuitive abilities, and why she believes fear has been used for generations to control our relationship with spirituality.
