Season 4, Episode 3 of The Run TMC Podcast features Kylie Horstmeyer: Redwood star, University of San Diego standout, and professional hooper.

In this episode, Kylie takes listeners through her basketball journey: growing up in Marin in a basketball family, playing CYO with the boys, starring at Redwood, graduating early to join the University of San Diego, and eventually scoring 1,000 career college points.

We follow Kylie overseas as she chases the dream and wins a title with the Trinity Meteors in Dublin. She shares an early visa scare in Ireland, explains how agents helped her navigate contracts and logistics, and describes the cultural highlights of playing abroad.

Episode 3 is diverse and entertaining, touching on recruiting and camp strategy, college and pro life, the realities of international hoops, a surprising handball detour, and plenty of on-court wisdom.

All Net Mindset

Season 4, Episode 2 of The Run TMC Podcast brings a wide-ranging, timely conversation about the seismic changes sweeping college athletics. Duffy and Dave welcome two insiders — Jamie Zaninovich (former WCC commissioner and Pac-12 executive) and Charles Hoevleer (investment executive, former collegiate athlete and friend of the podcast) — to unpack NIL, the transfer portal, conference realignment, and the legal and political fights shaping the future of the college game.

Jaime and Charles provide practical breakdowns of how economics are impacting conferences and recruiting: why conference realignment and far‑flung travel schedules emerged, how mid‑majors are responding, and whether Olympic (non‑revenue) sports are now at greater risk. We also cover coaches’ dilemmas—recruiting and re‑recruiting rosters every year, building culture in a transfer era—and the potential role of collective bargaining or other labor frameworks as a long‑term fix.

Please join us for this expansive discussion on an important and expensive topic.

This is Episode 1 of Season 4 of The RUN TMC Podcast—a one-of-a-kind podcasting event. In our 100th episode (we made it!) Dave and Duffy are joined at The Hub by Buck Chavez (Finally!) and Joe Euphrat. The conversation is, of course, about basketball and Marin County—but it’s also about family, resilience, sweat, and the joy of the game.

Buck and Joe trade pickup stories, share their family legacy and Old Man Ball memories, and open up about health and resilience—served with song, laughter, and plenty of pushups.
