Have you ever felt like you needed a miracle? Our need for a miracle is often heightened during the Christmas season. A time when feelings of loss, loneliness and sadness often feel so insurmountable alongside all the hype, festivities and promises of joy that we simply may not feel. As we study together today, we will meet a woman in need of a miracle, and we may find a piece of ourselves in her life. And we will also find our miracle.

When have you looked at circumstances either in the world or in your own life and said to or about God, "how could you let this happen, what were you thinking? What happens to us when the circumstances in our world are beyond our understanding, and when our God is not who we thought?

Join us as we explore scripture to use these times as an opportunity and blessing calling us deeper into our relationship with God, to seek Him and know HIm as He is, and to move deeper into our faith.

The question for me was not if I believed in God, but how I believed in God. Asking do I truly know and trust God? Am I living my life in Christ or am I living with a foot in the knowledge of all God can do while still not letting go of living my life my way and in my strength? Our hearts are much like the heartwood of a tree. The center of a mighty tree, its heartwood can be forever damaged when the tree absorbs wounds. Our hearts can also be damaged as we absorb hurts and wounds and take offense. Join us as we seek our Lord's word guiding us to guard our hearts.

Have you ever felt as if your life is full of spaces, like a sentence missing words?

In Matthew 6:25 we are told," do not worry about your life..." In Matthew 13:22 we are told, "The cares of this world will choke out the life of God in us." If you think about it, we are all bombarded every minute of the day by the cares of this world. So, how do we not worry? How do we not focus onthe spaces, on the times we think we missed out on, on the regrets, on the worries going forward, how do we not worry about our life? The answer is found in the way we worship.
