The series Recorded History is hosted by Ty J. McCormack. In the program, he goes over the history of vinyl records, cassette tapes, compact discs, and now streaming as well as how that affected how we listen to music. He also goes over how each item is produced, giving the listener a behind the scenes look at how the music we listen to is made. Special guests appear on every episode and range from academics who know the context to musicians who produce and release their own music independently.Copyright WGAO/Dean College
