College football gave us the kind of Saturday that makes you forget to breathe. Five of the top seven teams go down, the SEC takes body blows, and the Big Ten race gets a new layer of chaos all in one day. I’m solo for this one, so you’re getting the full unfiltered ride as I work through what happened and what it actually means for the playoff picture.

We start with the centerpiece: Ohio State vs Indiana. It’s a knockdown game that turns into a survival test, and it ends with the biggest storyline of all: Julian Sayan’s elbow injury that takes him out for the season. I break down why Indiana’s pressure plan worked, how Jeremiah Smith still changes the math even when he’s doubled, and why Ohio State’s tight end blocking and red zone decisions nearly cost them. Then we bounce through the rest of the chaos: Florida storming back to beat Texas as Arch Manning and Sark take heat, Georgia melting down vs Auburn, Alabama getting handled by Tennessee, and BYU outcoaching Notre Dame in one of the best games of the day.

From there, we flip to the NFL: quick news hits (Hurts health questions, JJ McCarthy getting a shot, Sam LaPorta’s contract comments, Tank Dell nearing a return), then game-by-game reactions. Texans vs Jaguars in London is the standout, CJ Stroud keeps leveling up, and we close with everything from the Steelers OT comeback to the Niners finding a way despite injuries. We also pick the Bears to beat the Pats on Thursday night but forgot to talk about it, sorry.
