Buying a luxury home isn't just about finding the perfect property — it's about having the right financial strategy to make the move.

In this episode of Real Mac Moves, Jason “Jmac” McIntosh sits down with Christina Waggoner, Branch Manager with First Option Mortgage, to break down the world of luxury home financing and what buyers should understand before entering the high-end real estate market.

We get beyond the beautiful kitchens, waterfront views and impressive price tags and talk about what actually happens behind the scenes when it's time to finance a luxury purchase.

We discuss luxury and jumbo financing, preparing financially before beginning your home search, credit and qualification, assets and reserves, down-payment strategies, documentation, and why having your Realtor and lender working together from the beginning can make such a difference.

We also talk about the value of working with an experienced preferred lender who understands your Realtor's process, communicates throughout the transaction and knows how to navigate challenges when they arise.

Whether you're considering a luxury home now, planning for one in the future, or simply curious about how high-end real estate is financed, this episode is designed to educate, add value and help you make a more informed move.
