  • Ep 09: College Algebra, Business, and Babies: They Don't All Have to Be This Hard
    Jun 6 2026

This week Lacy goes off-script and a little off-cadence. After fifteen years of white-knuckling her way through everything, she's finally asking the question she kept refusing to ask: what if it didn't have to be this hard?

She gets honest about her ADHD diagnosis, the brain fog that hit hardest after baby number three, and the quiet, stubborn belief a lot of founders carry: that hard is good, that struggling is the price of being serious, that you just push through. Turns out she was wrong, and the fix was a lot smaller than she expected.

This one's a peek behind the curtain. No framework, no whiteboard. Just a founder admitting that the clarity she'd been grinding for was sitting there the whole time, waiting on her to give herself permission to reach for it. If you've been muscling through something that doesn't have to be this hard, this episode is for you.

  • Ep 08: The One Where I Sold Wedding Dresses Out of My Trunk (+ What I Learned About Brand Strategy)
    May 26 2026

In 2016, Lacy was running a Pilates studio she loved. Then she added spray tans. Then lash extensions. Then — and this is true — she started selling wedding dresses out of the trunk of her car. In her head it was a one-stop bridal wellness empire. In reality, it was a Pilates studio that had completely lost its mind.

This episode is about the trap underneath that chaos: the belief that solving more problems makes you more valuable. It doesn't. It just crowds the garden until nothing gets enough of you to grow — and nobody, including you, can tell what you actually are anymore.

Lacy reframes all of it as what it really is: not a focus problem, a brand problem. Because focus is the brand. A brand isn't your logo or your colors — it's the decision about what you are and, just as importantly, what you're not. And you can't build clear messaging, positioning, or identity on top of a business that's still trying to be five things. You have to decide first, then build.

If you've been adding instead of deciding — bolting on offers because each one felt generous, or smart, or like growth — this one's going to land a little too close to home. In the best way.

  • Ep 07: The $5,000 Logo That Never Felt Right
    May 19 2026

I spent $5,000 on a logo for Endeavor that never felt right. Not once. Not for a single day.

In this episode I tell the whole story — the Nashville agency, the Canva template, the meteorological cloud symbol that five different people mistook for an upside-down E, and the three years I spent half-hiding from my own brand. It's a confession episode, but it's also a brand strategy lesson, because the mistake I made is the same one I now watch for in nearly every client who walks through Endeavor's door: rushing visual identity before the brand strategy is locked.

If you're sitting on a logo right now that doesn't feel like yours, this one's for you. And if you're a designer tired of clients who can't tell you what they want — stick around to the end. I have something for you too.
