Today's broadcast is an Echo from the Archives with Featured Storyteller S. Pearl Sharp! A working actress for over fifty years, she starred in the TV movies Minstrel Man, opposite Glynn Turman, and Hollow Image with Morgan Freeman, Robert Hooks and Dick Anthony Williams amongst others...during the 1960’s and 70’s, S. Pearl Sharp was part of New York City’s vibrant Black Arts Movement, studied acting in Harlem through the government’s “Poverty Program,” and was a member of esteemed novelist John Oliver Killens’ writing workshop, where she created her first play, "The Sistuhs" and published her second collection of poems. In 2013 she released an audio collection of five short stories titled "Uncertain Rituals" and we honor her memory and contribution as some of those stories are shared on this Echo broadcast. Additionally, we honor the memory of "Lawrence 'Lobace' Stoll, a valuable member of the Radio Theatre For Your Soul family, supporter of ALL things artistic and a dear friend. With his Drum & Bass in tow, he was the in-studio support for S. Pearl Sharp's original broadcast on June 11th, 2016, Season 1. Both of you are forever in our hearts with a story to remember!

Heather Ayers is the Featured Storyteller on Radio Theatre For Your Soul - Where Storytellers Gather...Around the Mic! A Midwesterner, living in New York City, Heather has been living her passion and now a veteran Broadway Actor ! You may know her from shows like, Our Town, Groundhog Day, & A Little Night Music or on television in the series No Activity & Scandal. Born with parents who have a love of music and other genres of the arts, her profession seemed inevitable. Her story, titled “Conquering this Town: An Actor’s Life Tour” shares some very significant & exciting moments in her life. Indeed, a genuine story shared.
