This is the first episode of Phantom of the Opera, an audio drama inspired by the original novel by Gaston Leroux.
Rumours swirl in the Palais Garnier among the actors and workers that a ghost is haunting the old theatre. Meanwhile, the young viscount Raoul de Chagny has found his old childhood sweetheart to be one of the actresses and has watched her in secret for months - until his older brother convinces him to go backstage to see her. Firmin Richard and Armand Moncharmin are the new managers of the opera and have recently taken over the establishment, but mysterious letters from an anonymous 'Opera Ghost' turns out to be only the beginning of tumultuous experience for them.
