Kelly and Meryle discuss Tibetan cultural norms and idioms that seem bizarre or outrageous to non-Tibetans, and discuss why survivor of childhood Monastic sexual assault Kalu Rinpoche calls western accusations towards The Dalai Lama “pathetic”. Although there has been a real predator problem within the Tibetan monastery system, it appears that pointing a finger at The Dalai Lama, may not help save the children.
