  • Finding the way back to me: A brief exploration into our inner child
    17 Aug 2026

Join me as we dive into our childhood; exploring how our inner child shows up today in how we talk to ourself and how we interact with others. We'll take a brief look at how the obvious and not-so-obvious traumas that we experienced in our childhood manifest in our perceptions and behaviors today. The inner child is a metaphor that can help us connect with those parts of us that are creative as well as those parts of us that are wounded / hurt.

The idea behind “inner child work” is…….learning to turn toward that younger part of ourselves with the care, kindness, and compassion that we may not have received as children.

We'll examine some ways to listen to our thoughts and feelings instead of ignoring or criticizing them. Hopefully, to develop more self-compassion and a positive perspective of the self.

  • It's All in How We Interpret it: A brief discussion addressing how our perception affects our mental health.
    19 May 2026

Have you ever noticed how two people can have the same experience and have two totally different perceptions of the experience? For example, one person may look outside when it's raining and think "This is just great, might have known it would rain the day have to be outside for my job" - however, another person might say to themselves "Bummer, I guess I'll need to pack the Wellies. Oh well, the garden needs the rain...." Two different perceptions of the rain.

In this episode, I want to share a simple but powerful framework that I have noticed over several years of working with clients. We'll explore three core perceptions that shape our daily emotions, resilience, and overall well-being, these include:

    Our perception of ourselves

Our perception of the world around us

Our perception of what the world thinks of us

Come along on this journey to learn more about how our perception affects our mental health.
