  • Episode 4: Musicians becoming Actors vs Actors becoming Musicians
    5 Sep 2026

Our show has little or no plan, with very few real topics

We have a ton of CDs of one group that the average person doesn't even know the group

You can't count Grateful Dead live bootlegs as "albums released"

David Bowie's Blackstar released two days before his death

What band/group/artist did you get into after they were already established?

    - Queens of the Stone Age

    - Guided By Voices

People who tried to stump Jared with new bands that he actually likes

Getting excited about new albums from groups we like

    - Domi & JD Beck WHO ASKED? follow-up with YOU ASKED! (the instrumental version)

    - IT'S THE BLOOD THAT JESUS SHED!

    - You got any Five Finger Death Punch?

Now we're talking about Five Finger Death Punch and whatever type of "metal" that is.

  • Episode 3: Overrated cult classics and your music taste hasn't matured
    6 Aug 2026

    How long is a CD?

What's the difference between an EP and an LP?

Bands that come through Phoenix; either sold out when we don't think it will be, or no one there at all.

Record stores in the 90s and early 2000s.

Buying music online at odd shops like FYE.

Alphabetical band names where the shop doesn't have what i want but terrible shit all around it.

    Rolling Stone magazine (is trash)

Cassette tapes. Making mix tapes. Tape deck in your car. Headphone jack tape to connect MP3 player or CD player.

AC/DC is terrible, but we still spend 5 minutes talking about it.

Old hardcore bands playing together again after 20 years and all their songs are about being 15.

    Pennsylvania hardcore bands and venues.

Bands that quit for 20 years and are back at it. Could they or should they make a new album?

    Rhythym Room closing.

    Karate: the band.

    Overrated cult classics.

Tupac... ICP... Cardi B WAP... 2 Live Crew...

    No bad press!

    Terrible pop country music.

    Musical tastes that don't mature.

    What we've been listening to.
