À propos de cette écoute
Hey Guys,
Sorry it's been a couple of weeks. I got busy! Mainly with the kids being off school for Halloween mid-term, but I've also been creative. I've been working on the kickstarter campaign for the book, which was successful! WOOT!!! So that's going into print. Happy Days! I've been writing a lot, prepping stuff for next year. And, tomorrow I'm shooting another short film. Its a script by Bill Murphy, the actor from Sacred Heart and The Valley Monologues. This will be my 4th film this year! So, you see, you can do it! Create, don't wait!
This episode is a little different, but it's a topic that's important to me. It's about poverty, and being poor while trying to be a filmmaker. I've experience both. I grew up poor, I've been poor as an adult and I've experience poverty and the isolation, anxiety and embarrassment that brings. But I persevered, through all that I found a way to stay creative and make films. And I'll talk to you about how you can too. How to be a broke a$$ filmmaker!
You know, that was going to be the title on 8 Simple Steps, but I changed tack! Maybe it'll be the title of the next book! A guide to making it without a penny! Watch this space. In the meantime, enjoy this episode.
Love,
Frank
