À propos de ce contenu audio

This is a biweekly podcast that talks about living between. We’ll lead with the stories of First Generation Black people. People like me have had to code-switch, live in dual worlds, and turn aspects of our personalities “On and Off". More than that, so many of us turn ourselves “On and Off” every day just to keep moving. How are our emotions affected? What are the peaks and valleys of life that we harbor silently but need to start a dialogue about? Let's talk about all of it. Subscribe, leave a review, and tune in every other weekend to listen to On & Off with Ariel. As promised, part 2 of my interview with Chef JusBlaze. Excited to have him a "friend of the show" (ha!) and for you to hear the rest of his story. Peace and love to him for agreeing to chat and to y'all for listening!

    • Chef JusBlaze - Part 1
      Feb 28 2021

I spoke with Brooklyn's own Chef JusBlaze this week. He talked me through some heavy experiences from his past and was super transparent with me about how he coped with loss and navigated the earlier stages of grief. I want to take the time to thank him for his story. Even if you can't relate directly, part one of my chat with him is a chat we all need to hear.

      Peace, akb.
