If you have been to a Nutmeg live event you have seen Michael Onischuk hard at work, helping to develop the visual tone and style of the series through his work as photographer of record. This week Michael joins Erik and Bill to talk about what drew him to live performance photography, the evolution of his personal visual style and the satisfaction he feels when artists choose his photos to represent themselves. You can see Michael's work on Instagram. He can be found on that platform with the handle @uncrossedtitan.

Michael Sanford Day joins us this week to talk about his new album Reason to Stay, the importance of family and community support and how fatherhood and a battle with his health informed the writing of his song "Love Somebody Else (Cece's Song)".

You can see Michael in person when he joins us at The Little Pub Westport on Tuesday September 22nd along with Alice Brightsky for a night of live, local, original music. We hope you will join us as well.

Scott Smith of The North County Band joins Erik and Bill to talk about his song "Looking Out For Him" and how it helped him and his kids connect to their past. Scott is a Board Member and the Co-Executive Director of The Granite Church in Redding and also talks about the upcoming Planet Granite Music and Dance Fesitval taking place the weekend of September 19th & 20th.
