  • Reflecting On My Nature

    Reflecting On My Nature
    13 Feb 2024

WHAT IT DO, IT'S SEASON 2!

The only way to improve yourself is to reflect on your current and past behavior. Peep the patterns, the way you think, what you default to; if you're conscious you'll grow and that's what I try to be. Understanding the psychology helps you understand the why's. When you understand why's, it's easier to move forward. Hopefully my introspection inspires you, or you even feel some closure by relating to what I struggle with.

    Presenting... Episode 10!/I'm Back!
    2 Feb 2024

I'm back! It's been a long minute, I know; but I needed to step away. I ain't better than ever but I'm doing better and feeling fired up to podcast again! In this episode we celebrate hitting episode 10 by talking about bullshit interviews and a wild experience "onboarding" at a company. I also update you on my life now. I also reveal a new podcast I've been working on: Young Adult Musings. It's an extension of ThisLifeSh_tCrazy. The content is short form and on the creative side showing intimate snapshots of the many facets of life. Tap in and look forward to content from both podcasts.

  • Don't Be So Cynical

    Don't Be So Cynical
    1 May 2023
This episode I let y'all in a lil. I had great momentum going with the uploads, what happened?? The job search man, it kicks your ass. The rejection, time wasting, waiting, disrespect, it gets you down. And when you're down it's hard being positive and uplifting, almost impossible. I don't like faking positivity anyways and I realized some wisdom in my situation: A few bad experiences can't shape you into a worse person. They didn't happen so you assume everyone will be or do the same. They happened so you can save yourself when you notice the pattern in the future. So lately I've gotten some wack recruiters, but I know there's one out there that'll be eager to help me find the healthy work environment I'm looking for.

  • Rehabilitate The Ignorant

    Rehabilitate The Ignorant
    21 Apr 2023
It's been awhile, I know. But I'm not dead nor gone! Just needed a little break. This episode I address how we as a society contribute to our own division. We don't come together as a unit and address societal issues, we spend all our time hating the wrong people or placing our anger in the wrong places. It's always two sides fighting while they want the same problem solved, its ridiculous. The thing is. this division is fabricated. It's a calculated effort so we get nothing done and so far its working. I haven't and I won't lose hope though and neither should you. People are either victims of misinformation or ignorance and it's on us to bring them back. We need to rehabilitate the ignorant if we want positive change!

  • Embrace The Lows!!

    Embrace The Lows!!
    26 Mar 2023
As a young adult there's a lot of shit we can't make sense of. We simply lack experience and wisdom that is acquired naturally over time. There's 1 lesson I've learned that stays consistent throughout life though: it gets worse before it gets better. The human experience is all about conflict. We're the main characters of our lives, our story. Life wouldn't be fulfilling if everything was handed to us or worked out. So this episode I say Embrace The Lows!! But why? Don't you ever notice how much better life gets after overcoming your lowest points?

  • The Past Sucked, I'm Thankful For That

The Past Sucked, I'm Thankful For That
    19 Mar 2023
I celebrated 2 years and 6 months with my girlfriend a few days ago and it got me reflecting about the past. When lockdown happened things went from "who's sleeping at who's" to "I can't wait to see you again." It absolutely sucked having my relationship swiped out from under me; but if things happened differently, I wouldn't have the relationship I have today. So yea, the past sucked but I'm thankful for it.

  • Silly Vibes & Reassurance

    Silly Vibes & Reassurance
    12 Mar 2023

We're back to going solo for episode 5! Half way to 10! Can't wait to get in the double digits. I hope you don't mind being uplifted, I needed to share some reassuring words this time around. For those that feel lonely, and those pivoting/navigating their careers. I've been in both places and want to reiterate: you are not alone. I talk through some questions you can ask yourself to help you find your way. Eventually this episode closes out with a personality assessment I took for a job. No spoilers but the questions get kinda odd...
