    Addressing the Fear Directly

"If you're a candidate for the NYPD and you've been disqualified because of a past diagnosis of ADHD, you're feeling frustrated and maybe even hopeless. You might think your dream is over. But I'm here to tell you that ADHD does not automatically end your career. This is one of the most common psychological disqualifications we handle. Today, I'm giving you the exact, three-step strategy you need to win this specific appeal."

"The NYPD psychological disqualification for ADHD is a legal challenge, not a medical one. It requires a specific, legally supported defense. Don't appeal on your own. It is simply too high-stakes. If you've received a Notice of Proposed Disqualification, it is crucial to speak with an attorney who specializes in the New York civil service appeal process immediately. Your window to appeal is short. Call the Law Offices of Kevin P. Sheerin today. We are here to help you get the badge you deserve."

  • Should you appeal an NYPD Psychological Disqualification?

Should you appeal an NYPD Psychological Disqualification

After the initial frustration and disappointment and heartbreak of receiving a disqualification certainly after spending 15 or 20 hours processing at the NYPD Candidate Assessment Division candidate's first question is: Should I appeal?

This podcast discusses some of the answers to that question. Certainly it will not get any worse if you appeal because you arer currently disqualified. Your appeal could get reversed and NYPD disqualifications are getting reverse with increased frequency at second interviews at Lekrak City Plaza or the NYPD Candidate Assessment Division located at 235 E. 20th St.

By not appealing your NYPD disqualification would become permanent. The withdrawal option has a limited value insofar as if your true goal is to be an NYPD Police Officer they will take out that disqualification file that you did not appeal and hold that against you and actually accuse you of consenting to the disqualification because you didn't fight back and appeal when you got your first one.

I have been assisting NYPD Psychological Disqualification candidates for 19 years. What I see is candidates with compelling arguments that their disqualification was unjustified are being restored to the eligible list for NYPD Police Officer.

I would be glad to discuss your NYPD disqualification with you during a free consultation.
