The Adran Premier is back! ⚽️🔥
Season 2 kicks off with a big look ahead to the 2026/27 Adran Premier opening games on 6 September, as we get stuck into everything happening across Welsh women’s football.
We start with a little summer holiday catch-up because yes, we’re teachers and we needed a break! 😅 before diving straight into the football.
We take a look back at the Welsh Cup, exploring its history and the dominance we’ve seen over the last 15 years, before turning our attention to the growing opportunities for Welsh clubs and players on the European stage.
We chat about what Champions League football in Wales means for the next generation, particularly the young girls in North Wales who had the chance to watch their role models playing European football on their doorstep.
We also celebrate a huge moment for Mariam Mahmood, who was honoured by Wrexham after making history as the first woman of South Asian heritage to play in the UEFA Women’s Champions League. A milestone that deserves to be recognised and celebrated.
There’s also exciting news around Wales facilitating a Women’s Under-23 training camp, following the campaign to help bridge the gap between youth and senior international football.
And, of course, we get into all the hot transfer talk 👀 who’s moved, who’s strengthened, and which clubs could surprise us this season?
Hannah gives us the lowdown on her pre-season, while we put our cards on the table with some early predictions.
We’re also keeping a close eye on sisters Amy and Lily Deacon, and we’re excited to see how their talent develops and the goal contributions they could make throughout the season.
So, with new signings, familiar faces, European ambitions, young talent and plenty of unanswered questions… What is the 2026/27 Adran Premier going to bring?
Join us as we get ready for another season of Welsh women’s football and remember…
Sis, nobody asked for this. But we’re giving it to you anyway. 🎙️⚽️
