In this episode of New Fashioned Conservatives, two semi-involved Wisconsin guys examine the final Marquette Law School poll and other recent surveys ahead of Election Day. The latest Marquette numbers show David Crowley at 51 percent and Tom Tiffany at 44 percent among likely voters, with a tighter 47-44 split among registered voters. The hosts walk through what the numbers say about the race, independent voters, and turnout as Wisconsin prepares to choose its next governor.

They take one last look at the Crowley-Tiffany matchup before voters head to the polls on November 3, covering the key dynamics, remaining undecideds, and what to watch on election night.

  • Ep.92 - Bad Debate, Bad Scandals for Crowley | 10/25/26

In this episode of New Fashioned Conservatives, two semi-involved Wisconsin guys start with the big event of the week: the only gubernatorial debate between David Crowley and Tom Tiffany. For a quick synopsis, check out the Heartland Post debate recap.

They then dig into the latest allegation from Camp Crowley. A Democratic insider told The Daily Wire that Crowley agreed to drop out of the primary and endorse Sara Rodriguez in exchange for $250,000 for his campaign and a paid job for his wife. Crowley could have put the story to rest with a clear denial, but he never did.

The hosts also walk through several of Crowley’s flip-flops from the debate stage. In Madison, the Common Council fired the interim police monitor after a marathon meeting, showing that even Madison liberals can eventually get tired of the more extreme voices in the police oversight space.

  • Ep.91 - Candidate Spotlight: Gina Paulick for State Assembly | 8/22/26
    22 Oct 2026

In this episode of New Fashioned Conservatives, two semi-involved Wisconsin guys spotlight Gina Cefalu Paulick, the Mount Pleasant Trustee and realtor running for Wisconsin State Assembly District 66. She is challenging incumbent Greta Neubauer, the Assembly Democratic Minority Leader, in a Racine County district that includes Mount Pleasant, Sturtevant, Elmwood Park, and south Racine.

The hosts break down Paulick’s local experience on the village board, her focus on property taxes, housing affordability, small business, and school outcomes, and why taking on the minority leader in a competitive seat matters for the broader fight for the Assembly. They also touch on Neubauer’s record and the dynamics of a district that has drawn attention as Republicans look to hold their majority.
