  • Costly Faith (Scattered & Sent - Acts)
    Jan 18 2026

Following Jesus doesn’t always make life easier; sometimes it makes it harder. This Sunday in Acts 7–8, we’ll see how suffering reveals what we really believe, how God redeems hardship to advance His gospel, and why faith that truly transforms us always requires surrender. When faith costs us, the question isn’t if God is at work, but rather what we trust Him for.

This Sunday, we’ll look at Acts 6 and discover how growing pains can either divide us or deepen us. What if the challenges we face aren’t signs of failure, but rather invitations into God’s greater purpose for you and the work He is doing in and through New Bridge?

  • Me or the Mission Moment
    Dec 28 2025

In this sermon, Jeff Fernandez invited us to examine the many “Me or the Mission” moments that shape our lives, especially as a new year draws our attention inward. Scripture calls believers to move beyond personal rights and self-focus and instead seek what is loving, constructive, and good for others. Jesus models this in His interaction with Zacchaeus, showing how grace, truth, and presence can lead to repentance and transformation without compromising holiness. These moments of choosing mission over self form us into Christlikeness, calling us to respond quickly, humbly, and intentionally in our relationships so that God’s discipline produces righteousness and peace in us.

  • The Wonder of Family (The Wonder of Christmas)

Christmas surfaces many of the fond influences of our families, and it also surfaces much of the pain that we still carry. At Christmas, we celebrate Jesus’ birth, but His birth shouldn’t be isolated from the family He was born into. This Sunday, we’ll see how family shapes us but doesn’t define us, and how Jesus redeems our familiesby inviting us into His.
