The adventure officially begins. At a lonely tavern on the northern edge of the Fulgor Empire, four strangers arrive with very different reasons for being there.
Saltfang Weirdjaw is searching for three people he's never met—and it is obvious to everyone he interacts with that he has no idea who he is looking for. Roselle has heard there's a fight happening and is determined to find a way to earn a few extra coins. Spurius Chargus is trying to get a feel for the patrons at this tavern and isn't above a little drinking, eavesdropping, or theft to get his answers. And Tom? Well… Tom has a cat, a drinking problem, and a very important reason for being there tonight.
Meanwhile, two acolytes of Sola are discussing strange happenings in the North, a mysterious man in a red cloak is taking bets, and beneath the tavern's seemingly ordinary night, something much more dangerous is about to begin.
