    The Seeker Becomes The Sage
    22 Oct 2026
In this episode, Jennifer Taylor and Tava Baird continue exploring Samael’s message about a shift in our relationship with ancestors and guides: what if, at times, they are turning to us for wisdom and care? The conversation moves through intentional lack of control, compassion as a space we can hold without needing to fix anyone, and the possibility of loosening our grip on inherited stories. They also reflect on boundaries, chosen family, hope, and the idea that explaining Amnivara simply may help Jennifer find new clarity. The episode includes a channeled song of perspective and possibility. If you haven’t heard last week’s episode, please start there first. In This EpisodeThe seeker becoming the sage, and trusting the wisdom already withinAncestors and guides seeking comfort, care, and guidanceThe Overlook card and the practice of intentional lack of controlCompassion as presence without judgment or attachment to outcomeReleasing inherited stories while still honoring harm and maintaining boundariesChoosing how to spend the holidays, including building a family of choiceHope, possibility, and a new perspective on old storiesHow ancestors, guides, and earlier versions of ourselves may be connectedExplaining Amnivara simply as a way to discover what we already knowJourney Through This Episode00:00 — Recap of Samael’s message: the seeker becomes the sage04:00 — When ancestors turn to us for guidance08:00 — Overlook, cycles, and intentional lack of control12:00 — Compassion as presence without trying to control the outcome15:00 — Releasing the rope and meeting ancestors with compassion21:00 — Samhain, Thanksgiving, and choosing what to carry forward23:00 — Compassion, forgiveness, and breaking free from old stories28:00 — Boundaries, obligation, and the family we choose33:00 — “Hope grows in possibility”36:00 — Preparing for a song of perspective and possibility39:00 — Channeled song of perspective and possibility45:00 — “Hold me now like a babe”: a shift in perspective48:00 — Ancestors, guides, and the many forms of the unembodied53:00 — Seeing yourself as an ancestor and guide56:00 — Amnivara, the Temple of Song, and finding the simplest words1:00:00 — Closing reflectionsMusical TransmissionsChanneled song of perspective and possibilityContinue ExploringThe Deck of Rebellion by Tava Baird:https://www.tavabaird.com/product-page/the-deck-of-rebellion-lilithian-cartomancy-deck-and-signed-book Tava BairdThreshold Magic Pt 2: Reframing Chaos and Holding the Space of Compassion:https://mysticalmusings.buzzsprout.com/2380665/episodes/19387245-threshold-magic-pt-2-reframing-chaos-and-holding-the-space-of-compassion mysticalmusings.buzzsprout.comMystical Musings episode archive:https://mysticalmusings.buzzsprout.com/2380665Explore Amnivara:https://amnivara.comJennifer’s music and sound recordings:https://amnivara.bandcamp.comTava Baird:https://www.tavabaird.comThank you for listening and for bringing your questions, curiosity, and open heart to the conversation. • A Very Fairy Mystical Musings, Continued

A Very Fairy Mystical Musings, Continued
    8 Oct 2026

In the second half of their fairy-minded conversation, Jennifer Taylor and Tava Baird follow a hummingbird’s unexpected appearance toward questions of manifestation, change, reciprocity, and discernment. With reflections from Samael, they consider what it can mean to encounter a swift, shape-shifting energy; how grounding guides can help hold the center; and why a true exchange asks us to be honest about both what we seek and what we are willing to offer. Along the way, fruit, trees, a stone circle, and a race-car metaphor invite a more spacious look at relationship—both with the unseen and with ourselves.

    • Reciprocity as reflection: what we give, receive, and invest in ourselves
