    • Episode 129: Amelia Dyer the Ogress of Reading
      Dec 24 2025

Amelia Dyer, the Ogress of Reading, is believed to be responsible for the murder of up to 400 infants, delighting in their struggles as she strangled them to death, in late Victorian England.

Amelia, who was part of an underground network of baby farms, left dead babies in her wake everywhere she went, buried in gardens, tossed into weeds, thrown into the river.

Happy Holidays! It’s a doozy, listener discretion is advised.
