🎙️ MORE THAN A VOICE | TANYA RICH – FOUR DECADES BEHIND THE MICROPHONE | SEASON 1

Welcome to another episode of More Than a Voice, the podcast where we go beyond the microphone to discover the person behind the voice.

In this episode, I'm absolutely delighted to welcome the wonderful Tanya Rich, a voiceover artist, coach and industry veteran with an incredible career spanning over four decades!

From her early days as a session singer to becoming one of the UK's established and recognisable voiceover talents, Tanya has witnessed the industry evolve through generations of technology, changing trends and new opportunities.

With a career that began in 1985, Tanya has voiced countless radio commercials, helped pioneer the use of telephone voice systems in the UK and gone on to share her wealth of knowledge with aspiring voice actors through her coaching work.

But as always on More Than a Voice, it's about much more than the impressive CV.

We explore Tanya's life beyond the microphone, the experiences that shaped her, the challenges and triumphs of building a lasting career, and what continues to inspire her after more than 40 years in the industry.

We also discuss the importance of authenticity, adapting to change, the impact of AI on voice acting and the lessons she's learned along the way.

Whether you're an aspiring voice actor, an established professional or simply fascinated by the stories behind the voices we hear every day, this is a conversation you won't want to miss!

Welcome to a special edition of More Than a Voice, the podcast where we discover the person behind the microphone.

This time, we're doing things a little differently!

I'm delighted to team up with The Off Air Voiceover Podcast for a special crossover episode, bringing together two shows that share a passion for voice acting and the people who make this incredible industry what it is.

We're joined by Michael Ashtiany and Jen Lawton-Hunt for a conversation exploring life behind the microphone, the realities of working as a professional voice actor, the challenges of building a career, and the friendships and experiences that make it all worthwhile.

In Episode 6 of More Than a Voice, David Armstrong is joined by voice actor Rhiannon Moushall for a conversation about the journey behind the microphone and the person behind the performance.

Rhiannon talks about finding her way into voiceover, developing her own style as a performer, and the balance between technique, instinct and personality when bringing a script to life. She also reflects on the experiences that have shaped her career, the importance of versatility, and what keeps the work creatively rewarding.

It’s a relaxed and insightful conversation about voice acting, growth, creativity, and the individual behind the voice.
