Ahhh, the dreaded T-word… triggers.
We all have them. The people we love have them. And pretending we’re somehow “healed” enough to never be triggered again is probably one of the biggest loads of bullshit going.
In Lesson Two of Seven Lessons Life Has Taught Me Lately, I’m talking about what our triggers can actually teach us — the difference between feeling something and projecting it, why our reactions aren’t always about what’s happening right now, and how taking responsibility for our own shit doesn’t mean taking responsibility for everybody else’s.
The goal isn’t to never be triggered.
It’s learning to recognise what’s happening, get curious about where it came from, communicate it better, and choose what we do with it next.
Still learning. Still getting it wrong sometimes. Still human.
