The best conversations happen at midnight...

The intention for this podcast is fairly simple - to have genuinely interesting, insightful & super authentic conversations with an array of interesting people from many walks of life. Generally, we will speak with entrepreneurs in many different industries, including ecom, digital marketing, music, property, media, crypto & others - with the view to go deep into many subjects and stories not usually shared in this format.

I don't just want this to be yet another 'business' or 'entrepreneurship' podcast which tip toes around at the surface level and never dives deep or asks the questions people really want to know the answers to - the vision is to keep it super raw, real, honest & relatable - and hopefully as a result this content can properly connect with and have some sort of positive impact on as many people as possible.

The plan is to release an episode every week on Sundays, so please subscribe as there's much more to come soon!

  • Jack Zambakides on building D.Louise: robberies, walking away and starting again
    Sep 16 2026

Four and a half years ago, Jack Zambakides came on the pod running LS Personal Shopper: designer clothes for footballers and about £1 million of PlayStations a month in lockdown. He said he'd never take investment and that he'd sell within two years.

Almost none of it went the way he predicted. Robberies helped end that business. He walked away, went all in on D.Louise, the jewellery brand he built with his wife, and moved to Dubai.

This is two founders comparing what they believed then with what actually happened: focus, hiring, investors, founder mode, retail vs DTC, AI, and the biggest lesson from scaling that nobody tells you.
