  • Ep. 181: The Season Four Send-off! (Season Finale) HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 🎃
    30 Oct 2026

🍂 The veil is thinning, the candles are burning, and somewhere on Magnolia Street… two witches are preparing to close the book on Season Four.

    HEY WITCH, HEY! 🖤

As Samhain approaches and the Wheel of the Year turns once more, the Stinas are gathering around the cauldron for one last celebration of a season that took us places we NEVER could have imagined!

From poisonous plants and ancient folklore to the streets of Greenwich Village, the mysteries of the Owens family, and the long-awaited arrival of Practical Magic 2, Season Four has been nothing short of MAGICAL.

We're revisiting our favorite discoveries, celebrating the incredible guests and neighbors who helped make this season unforgettable, and reliving some truly surreal pinch-me moments—from Dallas and Pennsylvania to meeting the REAL Antonia Owens herself!

But this wouldn't be Magnolia Street without a little CHAOS.

Prepare for spontaneous musical outbursts, spectacularly unnecessary research, questionable pronunciations, outrageous outtakes, and a collection of supernatural fanfiction in which the boundaries between history, Hollywood, and the Owens family universe become dangerously thin.

And for the first time ever, we're rolling out the BLACK CARPET for the Magnolia Street Season Four Awards, honoring the characters, curiosities, and questionable decisions that defined our year!

But beneath all the laughter, there's something a little more meaningful. This season reminded us that magic isn't only found in books, spells, or silver-screen witches. Sometimes, it's found in the friendships we make, the stories we share, and the little neighborhood we've built together.

So pour yourself something lovely, light a candle, and join us as we celebrate everything we've harvested from Season Four.

Because every ending is simply another beginning… and there's still plenty of magic waiting on Magnolia Street.

🎃 Happy Halloween, witches, and a blessed Samhain to all who celebrate!

✨ We'll see you in Season Five!

  • Ep. 180: ANCESTOR VENERATION: The Magic in Our Blood & Bones 🕯️🌿
    23 Oct 2026

The past is never really the past… especially in the Owens family.

The veil is at its thinnest with Samhain approaching and the season of remembrance is upon us! Tonight, we're turning our attention to the people who came before us, the stories they left behind, and the pieces of themselves that continue to live through us.

This week on Magnolia Street, we're exploring Ancestor Veneration—the centuries-old practice of honoring those who have passed on, and the many ways their memories, traditions, and legacies remain woven into our everyday lives.

From Maria Owens's haunting portrait and mysterious blue sapphire to the Book of the Raven, inherited magic, and the family curse itself, we're tracing the ancestral threads that connect generations of Owens women throughout Alice Hoffman's Practical Magic series.

But this time, we're also opening up our OWN family archives! 📜

Join us as we uncover tales of immigration, love, loss, survival, and a few extraordinary twists of fate. We're sharing stories of ancestors whose lives have been preserved through photographs, paintings, handwritten histories, music, and even voices captured on recordings from generations past.

And somewhere along the way, a suspicious family resemblance leads us down an absolutely RIDICULOUS Magnolia Street coded ancestral rabbit hole involving an Italian winemaker, a Croatian connection, and one VERY scandalous family legend that leads The Stinas wondering.... ARE WE RELATED? 🍷😂

We'll also explore ancestral altars, offerings, spiritual traditions, inherited heirlooms, and the everyday rituals that keep our loved ones close.

Because sometimes the greatest magic we inherit isn't found in a spellbook or a centuries-old family treasure. Sometimes it's in the recipes we cook, the songs we sing, the stories we tell, and the faces we recognize in our own reflections.

So gather around the ancestral table, witches. We're digging up the family roots… and maybe a few skeletons along the way. 🖤

After all, we are all somebody's ancestors in the making.

  • Ep. 179: 🍳 DEATH BY SKILLET | Murder, Movie Magick & the Deadly History of the Frying Pan
    16 Oct 2026

DISCLAIMER: Today's episode contains discussions of real-life murder cases, domestic violence, and graphic descriptions of injuries and death, including blunt-force trauma.

While we'll be having a little fun with our Practical Magic-inspired true-crime parody, the real cases featured in this episode involve actual victims and families whose experiences are anything but fictional.

We've approached these stories with care and respect, but some of the details may be disturbing. Listener discretion is advised.

🍳 DEATH BY SKILLET: Murder, Magic & the Deadly History of the Frying Pan | Episode 179

A frying pan. A murder weapon. A little Practical Magic.

What do Sally Owens, a Bulgarian cowboy, and a disturbingly long list of real-life murder investigations have in common?

    Apparently... a skillet.

This week, the Stinas are reopening the case files of Charmed & Dangerous and investigating one of Hollywood's most unlikely weapons: the humble frying pan.

From the Owens kitchen to the infamous Frying Pan of Doom trope, we're exploring the strange history of cast iron, its place in folklore and witchcraft, and why watching somebody get clocked with cookware is somehow considered comedy.

But what happens when movie physics give way to real forensic evidence?

We're diving into actual murder investigations, courtroom testimony, and the chilling reality of blunt-force trauma—including a return to the very case that first sent us down this rabbit hole back in Season 1.

And with Practical Magic 2 bringing Sally Owens's weapon of choice back into the spotlight, we have a few questions about the increasingly suspicious men in her life...

Some secrets are buried beneath the roses. Others are hiding in the kitchen cupboard.

Welcome to DEATH BY SKILLET. 🔪🌹
