  • 428. The Best Way to Lose Weight in Your 30's & Beyond (And It Doesn't Start with Diet)
    Jun 29 2026

Have you ever felt like you're doing everything right—eating less, trying the latest diets, squeezing in workouts whenever you can—yet the scale barely moves?

Maybe losing weight in your 20s felt easier, but now your body seems to be playing by a completely different set of rules.

So what do we do? We double down. We cut more calories, eliminate more foods, and push ourselves even harder.

But what if the reason you're stuck isn't because you're not dieting enough? What if the best way to lose weight in your 30s, 40s, and beyond has less to do with restriction and more to do with creating an environment where your body feels safe, supported, and well-nourished?

In today's episode, we're talking about four foundational areas that have a bigger impact on weight loss than most women realize:

    1. Your mindset around food.
    2. How you move your body each day.
    3. The quality of your sleep.
    4. Your stress levels.

If you've been stuck in the cycle of starting over every Monday, this episode is for you. My hope is that by the end of today's conversation, you'll have a fresh perspective on what really supports lasting weight loss—and you'll feel encouraged to work with your body instead of constantly fighting against it.

And if you're looking for more encouragement and support, I'd love for you to join our free Facebook community, Lose Weight, Live Free. Come connect with other women who are learning to pursue health without obsession. I'd love to see you there!

  • 427. Faith Filled Friday: Become the Woman God Created You to Be - Start Living It Now!
    Jun 26 2026

How many times have you told yourself, "I just need more discipline"?

Maybe you've thought, "If I could just have more self-control, I'd finally stay consistent." Or perhaps you've found yourself believing, "One day I'll finally become the woman God wants me to be."

So you keep striving. You try harder. You start over again. You promise yourself that this time will be different.

But what if the problem isn't that you're not trying hard enough?

What if you've been spending so much time trying to become someone that God already says you are?

As Christian women, it's easy to live in a constant state of striving—trying to earn confidence, prove our worth, find peace, lose the weight, overcome food struggles, or finally feel "good enough." We often believe that once we reach a certain goal, then we'll become confident, free, disciplined, or worthy.

But that's not how God works.

Scripture teaches us that our identity isn't something we earn. It's something we've already been given through Christ.

You are not striving to become loved—you already are. You are not striving to become worthy—you already are. You are not striving to become God's daughter—you already are.

The transformation you're longing for doesn't begin with more effort. It begins with believing what God says is already true about you and learning to live from that identity instead of constantly striving for it.

In today's episode, we're talking about how to realign your mindset with God's truth so you can stop living from a place of fear, shame, and striving, and start walking in the freedom, peace, and confidence God has already made available to you.

Because lasting change doesn't come from trying harder—it comes from living from the identity you've already been given in Christ.

I pray this episode encourages you and reminds you of who you truly are.

And if you'd like additional support, want to go deeper, or simply need prayer, I'd love to hear from you. You can email me at taraj@dietditching.com.

  • 426. Can You Lose Weight Without Tracking Macros? 3 Keys to Freedom Beyond Macros
    Jun 22 2026

Have you ever wondered, "Am I supposed to track macros for the rest of my life?"

Maybe tracking macros has been incredibly helpful for you. It taught you about portion sizes, helped you hit your protein goals, and maybe even played a role in helping you lose weight. But at some point, you may have started to wonder:

"What happens if I stop tracking?" "Can I trust myself around food without an app?" "Will I gain all the weight back?"

What started as a helpful tool can sometimes become something you feel dependent on.

Or maybe you're on the other side of the fence. You've heard everyone talking about macros, you're curious whether you should track them, and you're wondering if it's the missing piece you've been looking for.

In today's episode, we're having an honest conversation about macro tracking—without the extremes. This isn't about bashing macros. In fact, I think they can be an incredibly valuable educational tool. They can teach you a lot about nutrition and help create awareness around your eating habits.

But if your goal is to become healthy without becoming obsessed, there comes a point where you need to ask yourself an important question:

Is this helping me build freedom around food, or is it feeding fear around food?

Today, I'm sharing three reasons why tracking macros indefinitely may not be the best long-term strategy for every woman, especially if you're striving for a healthy relationship with food while still pursuing your health goals.

And if you're ready to build healthy habits, learn how to nourish your body, and feel confident making food choices without needing to track every bite forever, I'd love to help. You can email me at taraj@dietditching.com.

And don't forget to join our Facebook community, Lose Weight, Live Free Facebook Community, where you'll find encouragement, support, and other women learning how to lose weight, live free, and leave food obsession behind.
