  • Beyond the Wheelchair
    Feb 6 2025

Daniel shares words of wisdom and hope to people with all kinds of disabilities. He is an inspiration. As you listen to his story you will see the love of Jesus all over his life.

Daniel wants people to see him for him and not the wheelchair.

He has many quotable statements in this podcast but one that stuck out to me was he changed his why question to how. He learned to not ask why but "How can you use this in me."

Daniel Carroll is a husband, pastor, and aspiring para-athlete.

Professionally, Daniel is passionate about fostering positive spiritual, organizational, and relational health in churches.

Personally, Daniel works to use his disability as a platform to share hope with others who find themselves in difficult situations, and to challenge people to find their strength and courage in Christ.

Daniel lives in Central Virginia with his awesome wife Sarah, who works as a local coordinator for Child Evangelism Fellowship- a non-profit ministry that aims to bring the Gospel to kids through after school programs and church partnerships.

Together, they work to inspire others to live up to the calling that God has placed on their lives, through conversations about ministry, marriage, and mobility.

  • Thirty Years of Cake Disasters
    Feb 20 2024

Yes, you can have your cake and eat it too. I would suggest ordering it from a bakery instead of having me make one. For thirty years I have been trying to make a three layer chocolate cake for my husband for his birthday that won't be labeled as the worst disaster yet.
Listen in for the names we have given to some of my cakes.
Do you know why we have birthday cakes? I will give you a little history about that in this episode.
